For 30 years Amal has helped airlines, railways, bus operators, energy companies and manufacturers plan their crews, vehicles and equipment. Many of the systems he built are still in daily use.
Before starting Gradient Optimization he was a Senior Research Scientist at Apple, and before that worked at Gurobi, IBM, GE Transportation and ILOG. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Operations Research.
Amal has developed optimization applications that were put into operational use at many organizations, including Apple, TSMC, NEC Japan, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore's Ministry of Defence and SMRT Singapore.

Vincent Gosselin

Vincent Gosselin is an AI and optimization expert with more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering advanced decision-support solutions for major international organizations. He built much of his career at ILOG and IBM, working as a data scientist, mathematical-modeling specialist, project leader, mentor and consulting director on large-scale optimization projects across manufacturing, retail, supply chain and logistics, for companies including Samsung, Toyota, McDonald’s, Dassault Aviation, TSMC and Disney.
With a strong background in mathematical optimization and an MSc in AI from Paris-Saclay University, he combines deep technical expertise with extensive experience working directly with business users and managing international projects across Europe, Asia and the United States. He is now CEO and co-founder of Taipy, where he focuses on turning sophisticated optimization models into production-ready applications for end users.
Desmond Delandro
Advisor
Desmond Delandro is an experienced software executive and technology strategist with more than 20 years of experience in building enterprise software businesses, enterprise sales, developing strategic partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and driving technology adoption.
Desmond currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Avaiga, where he leads commercial strategy and growth for Taipy, a Python-based platform that enables organizations to turn data science models and visualizations into enterprise applications.
Prior to Avaiga, Desmond held senior leadership roles at AWS, Automation Anywhere, IBM and ILOG. Working closely with technology companies and enterprise customers, he built global partner ecosystems, developed strategic enterprise relationships, and drove significant revenue growth through direct and indirect sales channels.
With a strong combination of technology expertise, commercial leadership, and enterprise experience, Desmond specializes in turning innovative software technologies into scalable business opportunities and building the partnerships required to accelerate market adoption.
